It's been years spent on this forums and it feels like not much has changed. The same problems that frustrated me before are still present. I personally still feel like the biggest issue for this industry is still mainly in this forum and and (to some extent) the industry's mind set. It's frustrating what this industry turned into. We use to have multiple forums, a healthy market and new fresh faces who were eager to enter to the industry. Now it feels stale, egotistical, bitter and kind of hostile. I'm 30 years old but I still think this industry does not have to be this way and while it may never been like it was it could improve. People do want to still make sites it seems it's just there is not really enough resources and guides in place that are organized. The forum is also a bit hostile at times. If you wanted to make a game you have tons of forums, resources, programs and videos.
Anyway I'm talking out my ass. Maybe I'm just too jaded and at the same time too optimistic if that is possible. It's been years now. If it has hardly changed it will likely not change much in 10 more years. If you guys every want to organize some kind of "resources and guides project" I might be interested in helping.
